Q. Wait… Cards with Cards on them? I don’t get it.

Q. You said Free Gifts. What's that about?
A. Click on the 'Free Gift Tiers' tab at the top of this page. It'll change the page to show you the Free Gifts you receive automatically in your order, based on order value. Don't worry - there's a copy of this FAQ over there as well, so you can return right back here at anytime.
Q. Ok. I'm back. So I had a look, and I really want that Red Artifice Case - but I also want the LTD and Gold Arcane. How do I decide what to make my order value?
A. Well if you get the Red Artifice Case - you get the LTD and Gold Arcane as well. Each tier is just another item Free Gift added to your Cart. So if you've already got The Ellusionist Iron-on Patches in your cart for a total of $75, and then you go over the $175 mark - you get both the patches AND the First Edition Blue Artifice Deck. The Gifts stack up on each other.
Q. Right. So - the cards for the Holiday Giveaway then. Can I use them for magic?
A. They’ve got some promotional text on them, and even if you collected every card you wouldn’t have a full deck – and simply buying a deck of Fathom would be cheaper in the long run… but, apart from that – Sure. Why not? Send us a video of your routines.
Q. So, winning is kind of like playing poker?
A Kind of. No gambling required. You'll get a game-piece of a playing card with each shippable item you buy.
Q. Each item? So a brick of cards gets me 12 stickers?
A Who said anything about stickers? Each deck you buy gets you one game card - so 12, yes.
Q. What about a pack of Pure Smoke refills? There's 10 of those in a pack, so 10 cards?
A No. The pack is considered one item. While we usually ship quantities of 12 decks in a "brick box," they are still considered single decks. A good rule of thumb is whatever the quantity in your shopping cart is, that's how many cards you'll get (excluding Free Stuff).
Q. How about downloadable videos? Will I get game pieces for buying those?
A Only if your order includes shippable items. We will not ship game cards for orders that include ONLY downloads. Also – when it comes to DVD + Download Bundles, the cart looks as that as 1 item, so – you get 1 game piece.
Q. But I wanted the download now. Can't you hold it for me until I buy some shippable items?
A No. In order to get game pieces for downloads, your order must contain something shippable. It can be a single deck.
Q.I bought enough to qualify for an Ellusionist Iron-On Patch. Do I get a game card for that?
A No. Only bought and paid for items get you game cards.
Q. The game pieces are pretty. I taped them all on my cat, and it looks really awesome now. It's purring more loudly than usual.
A You do weird things for fun.
Q. I just realized that I need to keep track of these on a gameboard.. that's how you use it, right?
A Exactly. We recommend peeling them off the cat carefully. You can print the webpage that’s accessible by clicking the ‘Collect Your Cards’ link here on the page – or, if you log into your account you can keep track on the digital gameboard. It will save automatically.
Q. I need the 10 of Hearts to score a killer prize. Can you send me that?
A No. Game pieces are selected randomly for placement in an order.
Q. So how do I cash in?
A As you collect game pieces, you will be able to form five-card poker hands. Certain hands qualify you for certain prizes on the contest page. When you collect enough for a certain hand, contact us pronto – support@ellusionist.com with subject line ‘I WON’ – and include the codes from each card.
Q. I have a 7 of Diamonds game piece that I can use in two prize-winning hands. Do I win both?
A No. No making up new Poker Hands. Each game piece can be used only in one hand – as shown in the digital game board.
Q. What if more than one person collects the cards for the grand prize?
A That won't happen. We have things engineered so that each prize has the proper number of hands.
Q. Still, Murphy's law and all that... what happens if two people end up with the same hand anyway?
A Ties will be broked by whomever redeems the prize first by using the proper prize redemption procedure.
Q. Will you announce when prizes have been won?
A Possibly, but a final decision on that has not been made.
Q. This is a Sweepstakes, right? Doesn't California Law say you have to give us free entries?

Q. What happens if no one wins a certain prize?
A Prizes that are not claimed will be put up for a second-chance drawing. The method for that has not yet been determined, but will be announced as and when it’s required.
Q. So, how long have I got?
A The promotion runs from the 23rd of November, 2012 until the 31st of December, 2012, 12pm EST (providing the Mayans weren't right, obviously.)
Q. I have a really good question that hasn't been answered in this FAQ! How do I get it answered?
