Earning points is really, really easy. You earn 1 point for every dollar you spend in the Ellusionist.com store. You must be logged into your customer account when checking out to gain points on your purchases.

Then, use your points for free rare collectable OR redeem your points in the Ellusionist.com store to instantly get a discount during the next time you purchase with us.

If you didn’t get an A in math , the we'll make the point redeeming easy. For every 15 points you earn, you can redeem them for $1 of store credit next time you checkout. So, if you redeem 150 points when you checkout, you'll instantly get $10 off of your purchase at Ellusionist.

The best thing is, we will keep a running total of ALL the points you earn in your lifetime with us, whether you spend your points or not. This lifetime total will earn you AUTOMATIC discounts on ALL of your purchases at Ellusionist.com for life.

From time to time, we'll email you special offers or run contests and give aways where you can earn even more points!

To earn points, you must sign up for an account online. There is absolutely no charge!!! Points are tracked by email address so hopefully you're not afraid to provide your email address to us. We'll email you points updates and special offers and you can opt out of email at any time without losing any points.

Your points expire two years after they are earned so be sure to spend all your points before then.

Q.: What is this new recognition point program?
A.: In a nutshell, every dollar you spend earns you a point. Those points can be redeemed for some killer, rare Reward items, such as a Gold Arcane deck of playing cards in a lucite case. Or you can redeem your points for store credit next time you checkout at Ellusionist.com. (You must pay all shipping fees, duties and taxes on Reward items.)

Q.: How do I get the recognition points? Do I have to fill out a voucher or e-mail someone?
A.: As long as you are logged in to your customer account, which is based off of your e-mail, then points will be applied to your account automatically. .

Q.: Do I get points when I order by phone or by mail?
A.: Sorry, no. Points are only given to orders placed online while logged into your customer account.

Q.: How do I spend those points?
A.: Once they are available, a special page will become available to you under your customer account. It's like -- dare we say it -- magic. There are 2 ways to redeem your points. Store credit (see the top of this page for details) and Reward items.

Q.: How do I sign up or enroll?
A.: If you're reading this, it means you're already enrolled. Participation is automatic and requires no extra setup -- all you have to do is ensure that you are making purchases with through your customer account.

Q.: Why can't I just buy any of those Reward items?
A.: Because a large portion of our customer base is interested in rare magic items. The popularity of the 1st ed. Black Ghost deck is a great example of this. We wanted to create a slew of really cool items that simply can't be bought from us -- they have to be earned.

Q.: I'm a wholesaler who sells Ellusionist products in my store. Can I participate in the loyalty program?
A.: Yes, but you must pay full retail at the Ellusionist.com retail store for any items for which you want points.

Q.: I asked for a refund on a returned product. Does that affect my points?
A.: Yes. Any refunds are subtracted from your points total.

Q.: If I redeem points for store credit, can I combine that with cash to make a purchase?
A.: Yes! Absolutely! If you're trading points for the store credit, you must use your points in the shopping cart before checkout (as described above) to gain store credit.

Q.: What's the exchange rate for store credit?
A.: 15 points gets you $1 in store credit. If you redeem 150 points, you'll get $10 off your shopping cart total.

What about the lifetime discount & membership cards? Is it really for life?

A.

Yes. We will track every dollar you spend with us. When you get to certain levels, you will earn lifetime discounts of certain levels by getting an Ellusionist Recognition Card:

At $750, you'll be a Gold member and earn a 5 percent discount.
At $1,800, you'll be a Platinum member and earn a 10 percent discount.
At $3,000, you'll be a Black member and earn a 20 percent discount.

Q.: Will I need to use the Ellusionisr Recognition Card to activate my discount?
A.: No. The card is simply a marker of the level you achieved. Your discount will be figured in automatically.

Q.: With every order, I pay shipping, sales taxes and duties. Do all of those earn me loyalty points?
A.: Only the amount spent on merchandise earns you points. You will earn 1 point for every $1 dollar spend on your cart subtotal.

Q.: My parents bought me about $100 worth of E merchandise for my birthday. Do I get those loyalty points?
A.: No, but your parents do. You might be able to talk them into purchasing under your customer account, but you'll be able to see what they buy, thus ruining any sort of surprise that goes with presents.

Q.: I need to stock up on playing cards, but the only computer I can get to is my roommate's, and I don't trust him enough to log in under my customer account on his computer. Can I still get points if I purchase as a guest?
A.: Loyalty points are tracked through your customer account, so you must log in if you want your purchase to count for your loyalty amount.

Q.: Can I sell my discount to someone else, the way I sold my level 60 Blood Elf Paladin to Leeroy Jenkins?
A.: No. Lifetime discounts are non-transferable. And we don't care if you have chicken.

Q.: I have a new e-mail address, which means I can't use my old account. Can I transfer points to a new account?
A.: Yes. When you change your e-mail address, e-mail us, and we'll transfer the points.

Q.: Let's say I buy $1,000 worth of cards. That gets me 1,000 points and earns me a Gold Recognition card, plus the lifetime 5 percent discount. However, I want to cash in and get a deck of Gold Arcanes. That costs me 600 points, which drops my total to 400. Am I still a Gold Member, and do I still get the lifetime 5 percent discount?
A.: You are still a Gold member, and you'll always be one, even if you don't want to be anymore. The $1,000 is a benchmark that, once you reach it, cannot be taken from you.

Q.: OK, next phase: After all that, I buy another $1,000 worth of cards. That means I have spent $2,000 total, and should qualify for the Platinum card and the 10 percent lifetime discount. But. because I cashed in to get that Gold Arcane deck, my point total is only at 1,400. What triggers the level advancement: the money I spend or the points I have?
A.: The money you spend. Remember that the discount is based on the money you spend, not the amount of points you have.

Q.: I bought a lot during the Holiday Giveaway. Does all that count toward my loyalty?
A.: Unfortunately, no. In order to be fair to everyone, we had to have a common start date.

Q.: That really blows. I've been a loyal customer of Ellusionist for many years. I even bought the Ellusionist mouse pad, that's how loyal I am. Why isn't there any consideration of my purchasing history in this program?
A.: Mainly because of these new promotional items, such as the Gold Arcanes. We really appreciate you sticking with us over all these years. But we want everyone to have an equal shot at getting some of these cool, new items and to start from the same place in working toward a lifetime discount. The best way to do that is to start from a common launch date. We're sorry that burns you, and we appreciate your understanding.

Q.: So, what happens when the Holiday rolls around again? Will this be separate from the holiday giveaway, or in addition to it?
A.: The recognition program will replace the bracketed holiday giveaway as we know it. Think of this program as a year-round Christmas giveaway. But don't worry -- we'll still have a holiday contest of some sort. We have some great ideas cooking...
