"Presentation: Top notch. Very well produced and easy menus.
Effect: we've all seen the demo, it's spectacular. People like to say it ends absolutely clean, but it doesn't. The effect leaves you a bit dirty, but it's very easy to get clean. The moves are all practical. Set up CAN take seconds, but if you want the effect to be easier, it's better to set it up before hand. But, more importantly, it's totally possible to get into position in a matter of seconds. 5/5
Ease of Handling: The teaching is great... I got the effect down in about an hour. And I mean perfectly. I think that's only because I’m a quick learner...if you're about average at learning, you just need to practice, like anything and the effect comes to you. It'll probably take about a full day of intent practicing to get down perfectly. If you practice enough, it becomes second nature and it's just great fun to watch yourself in the mirror. 5/5
This is one of those effects you want to keep doing even after you're perfect at it. I keep tearing up decks just because I feel so smooth while doing this routine. Only a few tricks can make you feel this way.
When i first saw how this was done, I instantly thought "hey! you don’t really end too clean!!" Then I tried the effect. All I can say it, this is one of the most satisfying tricks I have ever bought. I love it with a passion.
Overall, a rare 5/5

"The set up is so easy. I know 5 year olds that could do it. I actually performed it once for my 8 year old sister, and I did the set up right in front of her, and she didn't catch it. That's not a good idea though. I was just testing the limits. She still screams whenever I put on the third piece of the card. :) My second Performance: My dad and I were eating breakfast one morning, and I asked if he wanted to see something new. I told him to pick any card, and then had him sign it. I ripped it up, and he said, "Oh, great trick" sarcastically. I said, "I know! No, wait, here's the real trick. What if I told you that I only ripped that card in my mind? And also that the card isn't even ripped, it's whole." He looked at the pieces that I had in my fingers for a second, then said, "It's ripped. I know it is. You know I don't believe in that crap" Then I slowly and silently, restored the card, paused, and handed it back to him. Throughout the entire thing, he just laughed. Every restoration, every magical movement, he laughed. At first I thought that he was laughing AT me. NOPE. He was laughing at the fact that I had just shattered every concept of reality that he had. He pulled on the card: No sticky stuff, and it was DEFINITELY his signed card. The only words from his mouth that I heard the rest of breakfast were things that didn't even make sense. 'How...buttaaaa.....there's no....it can't just....wha?'"

"There are many different versions of the Torn and Restored Card effect available. All of them to some degree have their flaws. Sometime it's awkward handling, other times it's a gaff or a switch that is required.
Until now, I truly believed that I would never see a version of this effect that looked natural, and was easy to do. Until now.
After having watched only the PREVIEW video for Torn (by Daniel Garcia), my mouth hit the floor. Here, before your very eyes you will see the most elegant and beautiful piece of magic involving torn cards that you can ever imagine. Piece by miraculous piece you'll see something you never thought was possible.
It's been a long time since I was floored by something I've seen in just a demo video. You can BET that this DVD is going to be added to my library the INSTANT it's available. You would be foolish to let something like this pass you by.
