"True Life Story...

I went to a bar/restaurant with some friends because we had heard that there was a magician that worked there once a week, and that he came highly recommended. We were sitting in the bar waiting for the time he was supposed to arrive, watching the TV and having a few drinks when this huge guy with tattoos everywhere walks into the bar and announces that the fun is about to begin. It turns out he's the magician, and very good too. His ability to perform magic was top notch, but the best part of his performance was his personality, this was truly a person who enjoyed performing magic. His last trick however was different. He became serious and pulled a few paperclips out of his pocket and handed two of them out, asking my friends to straighten them out for him. While he was doing this, he asked the bartender for a few Kleenex tissues.

He wrapped the wires in Kleenex and just left them in front of each of my friends. I was very curious, as I didn't have a clue as to what was going to happen. Out came the cards. I got to shuffle them (I made sure I did a good job). Upon handing the cards back to the magician he immediately spread them out and asked them to each pick a card. The magician didn't even want to touch the cards they selected. Taking a matchbook and lighting a match, he touched the match to each of the bundles, and in a flash they were gone. in their place was the wire, but it wasn't straight anymore, but all bent into the shape of the cards that my friends had chosen. It was wild. At the end, he even let them keep the pieces of wire.
