"I just got this download and all I can say is "GET THIS". It is so practical and it will leave your spectators with that look on their faces (you know the look)!
You will smile when you see the method used, and be thankful that you listened to me. With all the risks you take with not knowing what you get until you buy it, I can put your mind at ease, this is hands down, risk-free.
Get AXIS today-- angles are not that hard to control and no more riskier than the known color changes out there. Unlike some color changes, there is hardly any movement of the deck. I suspect that once you get this move down, there will be no movement."

-- Note: This is DOWNLOAD ONLY ITEM -- The AXIS color change by Parth Dalal fulfills all of the requirements a serious performer would appreciate in an effective, ultra-visual, high-impact color change. It's one fluid motion that produces a result.
The performer holds the deck, face up, in his left (or right) hand in mechanic's grip. Without moving a muscle, he simply waves his other hand (empty) over the cards, and the top card visually, smoothly changes into a completely different card.
Your eyes won't believe your hands, and you'll fool yourself watching it in the mirror. Designed for an intermediate level performer (ability level 5 out of 10), the change is remarkably simple in technique and absolutely effective in performance.
Created by up-and-coming close-up performer Parth Dalal, this is a color change that you will love to learn and actually USE on a daily basis.
Taught in 12 minutes of detailed instruction by the creator himself, you'll learn everything you need to know to begin practicing and performing AXIS soon. This video is only available in download format.

Can I download on Mac? Our downloads will not currently work on a Mac- we recommend buying the DVD What is the Video Player Interface? Video Player is ellusionist's PC-only interface which allows you to view all of your downloaded videos and gives you a bunch of free stuff too. The whole thing is completely free and widely used by more than 150,000 people around the word. You download it and install it to your computer like any other software. It opens on your desktop when you want it to and shows you what magic shows are coming to TV, gives you the free newsletter every two weeks and free tricks and wallpapers for your computer! How many times will I have to enter my Password? The system is set to ask for your Password the very first time that you attempt to play the video. It is very important that you have downloaded the entire video before attempting to play it. Why are these security steps necessary? Ellusionist videos are highly successful and desirable. Due to the illegal, unethical trading of Ellusionist's productions over the Internet, we have initiated these security measures to cut down on such activity. This ensures that you'll be able to see even more of Ellusionist's DYNAMITE productions in the future — we've got MUCH more up our sleeves! Can I play my video on a different computer? What happens if my computer crashes a few months from now? The specialized licensing process that Ellusionist's videos utilize only allows, by default, for playback on ONE computer. Once you play the video on one computer, the video will not be playable on any other computers other than that unit. However, if you save the file to CD after downloading (BEFORE playing it), you can load it onto another computer and play it on there — and it will be registered for playback only on THAT computer. However, note that both computers (even the second one) will need to have Internet access in order to verify your password. Can I copy the video to a DVD? Yes you can, but only for archival purposes. You will not be able to put the dvd in your DVD player and watch it from your TV. If you want to do that, order the DVD version of our videos instead and you'll be able to view it while sitting on your couch. How much free space do I need to run the Video Player? Video Player requires 9 MB of free space to install; however, in order to download and play a full video on your computer, you should have at least 400 free MB. If you do not have sufficient free space, we recommend obtaining the video in DVD format. Our Money-Back Guarantee is our personal promise... If you're not fully satisfied with the video, simply return it and we'll refund you with no questions asked within the first 30 days. |

"In the interest of not having 50 threads about the change, I'll post my thoughts in here.
The effect itself - You've seen the preview video, and it looks stunning. It is very achievable.
The demo does not show any of the clean-up portion of the effect (the video teaches 3 ways to clean up). My favorite way so far is to just change the card back to what it originally was.
The teaching is clear. The video always shows Parth's hands, and he's fairly detailed about it.
The move itself is pretty easy to learn right off. It will take some practice to get it as smooth and miraculous as Parth, but I think it's within anybody's grasp.
Noise does not seem like it will be an issue, especially once you've mastered the change.
The big one everyone wants to know - ANGLES! Yes, the effect is angle sensitive, but not prohibitively so. I use the Snap Change (as taught by McBride on his manip. video) on a regular basis, and I think that the angles and cleanup for the snap are much less forgiving and more difficult than Axis. Axis certainly feels workable for the real world.
At first, I think this is best suited as a one-on-one, but with some experience I can see this working for a small group. Absolutely NOT surrounded though.
For $12 you get a video about 11:45, not 14 minutes as advertised. I certainly don't feel ripped off, but to put things in perspective, a video that would cost about $30 and contain much for material (more effects, and much longer) is nicer. If Parth had a whole DVD, he could easily include this as part of it.
Some folks are saying they'd pay double for this, not me. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great-looking color change, but let's remember, it is still one move and there are a lot of things in the magical world that you can buy for the doubled price of $24.
I've done this change in the mirror for myself a couple of times, and while I don't have it as smooth as Parth yet, it does look very good.
This is definitely recommended, especially for you color change hounds. If you're on a tight budget though, there are other items out there that offer more "bang for your buck".
I look forward to trying this out on some folks after I've practiced it a bit longer.
I'm sure I'll have more to say about it once I've practiced some more and actually used it in the real world. Thumbs up.

"After I watched the video I was in complete shock. I was amazed at how easy it was. Now don’t get me wrong, you're still going to have to practice this move before you go out and perform it but in the end it will be worth it.
Parth goes over all the details with excellent teaching and as a bonus the download includes using the AXIS not only as a color change but a force and control. (I mean what more can you ask for?)
If you practice this move and put a small bit of effort into it you should be able to have it down pat in about a week. Another thing I was shocked about was the price. Only $11.95. So overall I give the effect a 10/10. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

"I'm gonna keep it simple: this move is simple, smart and effective. What more could you want? The teaching is to the point, and elaborates where it needs elaboration. 12 minutes for one sleight is just right, Parth covers the basics, elaborates on the subtleties, and sets you up for performance.
The move is angle sensitive, but, what good moves that achieve results like this aren't? This is going to work very nicely in my ACR routine.
For the price- its a must have- one might even call it a bargain. Another color-change to add to the collection is a worthwhile investment for 12 bucks. It is as it seems- no gimmicks with the sell. As with any sleight, especially color changes (the only sleights you actually want the audience to see you do) it will take practice.
To conclude- its a neat, clever, deceiving color change, and with its one handed operation knocks the others dead.
Nice one Parth.
