Nick Verna created Factory Sealed. He tried something with plastic and water that no one had thought of before. It worked. He demo'd the effect at an International Brotherhood of Magicians meeting and in his own mild way simply "blew away the crowd". News spread in Internet chat rooms and forums, and the talk of the piece grew to mythic proportions. People who saw Nick V. perform it insisted it was unlike anything they had seen before. Nick told no one how it was done. Ellusionist took the basic principles Nick V. had invented and, together with Brad Christian, Justin Miller and Wayne Houchin, formed the genius effect into a perfect masterpiece. The effect can be performed surrounded or for one person. Methods vary depending on how many audience members are present.  Factory Sealed was honed over so many months. It is not impractical as some are. It is genius, perfected, and beautiful.
There are two basic versions on the DVD.... a close up version you will perform for just 1-3 people (that's the one at the beginning of the trailer), and a surrounded version which, in testing, seemed to be more powerful than the visual version. I think this is because of the slow nature of the presentation... the person is actually holding the bottle and I think that makes it powerful also. Get it and make your reputation. Can I download on Mac?

The specialized licensing process that Ellusionist's videos utilize only allows, by default, for playback on ONE computer. Once you play the video on one computer, the video will not be playable on any other computers other than that unit. However, if you save the file to CD after downloading (BEFORE playing it), you can load it onto another computer and play it on there — and it will be registered for playback only on THAT computer. However, note that both computers (even the second one) will need to have Internet access in order to verify your password. Can I copy the video to a DVD?
Yes you can, but only for archival purposes. You will not be able to put the dvd in your DVD player and watch it from your TV. If you want to do that, order the DVD version of our videos instead and you'll be able to view it while sitting on your couch. How much free space do I need to run the Video Player?
Video Player requires 9 MB of free space to install; however, in order to download and play a full video on your computer, you should have at least 400 free MB. Can the coin be borrowed? - Yes.
Can the bottle be from a vending machine? - Yes. When you watch the DVD, dozens of "routine" ideas will flow from your mind. We at Team E continue to create our own personal routines everyday with Factory Sealed and have plenty of fun doing so. We encourage you to do the same.
Is it necessary for the coin to be marked or initialed? - No. The point of this effect is the beauty of the visual penetration, not a detective-like examination of the process. That question comes from your mind, not the spectator's. We never heard it once in all the performances that were filmed, and there were a tremendous number of them that were shot.
Can this be performed point blank right in front of your spectator's eyes? - Yes.
Can it be performed surrounded - Yes ...there is a beautiful version included in the DVD which can be performed completely surrounded, and MAN does it get reactions. It's likely that you will perform this one more than any other version included on the DVD.
Can the penetration take place in the dead center of the bottle when performing it surrounded? - Yes.

"He took the factory sealed bottle, pulled the label off, and then slowly, visually penetrated the coin into the unopened, full bottle of water. There was no cover whatsoever>It was pure osmosis. No water leaked from the bottle. No jerky movements of the coin towards the bottle or the bottle through the coin. I don't need to see a teaser clip, I already saw it performed. I have never seen ANYTHING like it!
In my opinion, it is the Coup de Grace of all coin in bottle effects.

"Wow, I don't normally review products but this is different, I am left completely speechless, as I'm sure my spectators will be. This is an amazingly simple effect, with good strong subtleties that really will have an impact on the your audience as you perform and coin or bottle routine, great way to end with a souvenir you can give away with a quarter stuck in the bottle that cannot come out. can only imagine how I am going to implement this within my routines. Anyone with experience performing could do this effect the difficultly of this effect is not within the mechanics of the effect but the presentation that makes it perfect. The small subtle movements covered within the dvd really add to the impressiveness of the effect, and the impact that is psychologically left on the spectator.
All aspects of the effect are covered within the video. Everything from the mechanics with clean up, multiple methods of performing including one that can be done surrounded. Not only does it cover the physical aspects of the effect, but is covers the psychological aspects. The small details that stick in the audience’s mind that will remain in their mind and make the effect seem so much more impressive when they think back upon the effect and the details that they will tell their friends about when explaining the effect.
For those beginners out there, know that this is not an effect that will be challenging mechanically, no difficult slights must be learnt. The effect is all in the presentation that is where the challenge lays, in selling the effect, luckily the video gives many tips on that.
