Stage One
The magician borrows two bills from a spectator. The bills are folded, and one bill is placed inside of the other. The bills are then caused to visually pass through one another.

Stage Two
One bill is placed on top of the other bill. The bill on the bottom jumps to the middle of the folded bill on top.

Stage Three
The spectator holds on to the ends of a folded bill, with the other bill cradled inside. The magician pulls the bill through the spectator’s bill, just inches in front of their eyes.

To start out, Andrew demonstrates the three-phase routine one-on-one with the camera. The camera zooms in extremely close, so you know for sure that you're witnessing a true close-up miracle. As the bills magically melt through each other, you rub your eyes wondering if what you just witnessed was the real deal. As soon as you can even comprehend what just happened, Andrew takes the bills and proceeds to melt them in a more impossible manner than the first time.The bill that was on top of the other, passes to the other side and traps the bottom bill in between it. To finish, the bill that is surrounding the other one is melted once again through the other and the spectator can even experience this by holding onto one of the bills. The phases just get better and more visual as the routine goes on. Andrew then immediately unfolds the bills to show that they're completely normal and can be handed out for examination.

After the demonstration, Andrew talks a little bit about how long it took him to come up with the perfect bill melt routine and what he had to go through to accomplish the perfect effect. He then proceeds to teach the effect in different phases talking about the different moves and such. This is all done with the aid of multi-angle camera shots.

Once Andrew has taught the different phases of the routine, he takes you through a complete walk through of the effect, step-by-step, to get a feel for how it is to perform the routine in steps. This is really helpful when trying to learn the routine because you follow along with your own bills.

To wrap it up, Andrew briefly discusses a few more pointers and tips for making the routine look smooth and how to make the bills seem to almost visually melt and pass through one another, rather than just pulling them through without any reason. He also teaches a variation of the routine so you'll be able to perform it completely surrounded from all angles.
