Here is a simple, easy trick you can perform with the Svengali Deck:

Riffle the ends of the cards and have your spectator stick their finger in anywhere they want. They look at their card and don't show you. The card is shuffled back into the deck and then you let the spectator cut the deck into several piles - even ten piles. You tell them to concentrate and choose ONE of the piles - they can change their mind as many times as they wish. When they finally settle on one pile, you pull that top card off onto the table and reassemble all the other cards. After you've built up the suspense, you ask them to name the card they originally selected........... it's the card on the table!
