Face Off

If you think you’ve seen every possible version of torn and restored, think again.

In this TnR the torn pieces are placed in the spectators hands, only to emerge completely restored. All that remains is a frayed crease proving that the cards were once torn.

Gimmicks take minutes, but trust us, the memory this trick creates lasts a lifetime.

THE MOMENT IT'S TORN. IT'S RESTORED.

If you think you’ve seen every possible version of torn and restored, think again.

We travelled over 6,700 miles to Manila in the Philippines to bring you the only torn card paradox we could never solve.

Around 2 years ago a video was submitted to us of a man taking 2 signed cards, tearing both and instantly restoring them as mismatched souvenirs that the spectator can examine and even keep.

That mysterious man was Ron Salamangkero... and his method was like nothing we could ever conceive in magic.

The best part is the moment the cards are torn… they are already restored, making this one of the easiest TnR's to perform. No palming of pieces.

  • Zero Bad Angles
  • Completely Examinable
  • Nothing To Switch Or Ditch.

The torn pieces are placed in the spectators hands, only to emerge completely restored. All that remains is a frayed crease proving that the cards were once torn.

Gimmicks take minutes, but trust us, the memory this trick creates lasts a lifetime.

This is Face Off from Ron Salamangkero.

Jaw Dropper!!!

This effect can be considered as a commercial piece. It suits TV shows, YouTube performances and special occasions etc. It's a reputation maker! Just go for it.

Genius Method

I thought I had some inkling of the method before I purchased this, but I was way off. The method is genius and almost definitely impossible for a spectator to reverse engineer. Even a magician who didn't know this trick would definitely be pretty baffled.
Yes, there is some DIY involved, but nothing too crazy, and 100% worth it for the effect you get.

Easy to perform, huge impact

Great trick with huge impact on the participants, for no or little sleight of hands. Ends clean, no need to hide something at any time, which is great compared to other TnR tricks I know, you can focus entirely on the presentation.
For the gimmick preparation, Perseus Arkomanis in his tutorial for "Weak" offers useful advices which will almost nullified the difficulties experienced by other purchasers of Face Off.

Great

Face Off is a great addition to any magician’s repertoire. My favorite part about the effect is the handling that’s taught. Ron also teaches a few other effects that you can do with the gimmick. Great work!

Awesome Effect!

Highly Recommend this effect, it's both ingenious, and one of the most impossible effects that you can do for a spectator. It gets great reactions, most DEFINITELY worth it!!!

Shocking

It is a little bit of work but not too much. The effect is amazing. And your spectator will have absolutely no idea how you did it.

Easily my favorite gimmick

I got into magic during the pandemic. After learning 125 color changes, 250 card controls, and 150 routines with several variations of card plots. Despite all that, I am hesitant on Gimmicks and I love impromptu magic to do on the spot with cards or simply a already made product. After the first hours of getting the hang of making this Gimmick its worth it. This is the Gimmick that has gotten me the most WTF moments and the routine is easy. This and a voodoo effect shown on chris Ramsay's at the table lecture are my favorites

Just perfect.

I've been wanting to get back into magic, but not wanting to do cringy card tricks or tricks that came off as "cool". This is a jaw dropper! The method is genius and the performance is so clean. Would reccomend!
