javierI love this. I have been doing magic for a while and keep going back to this material for reminders, techniques you dont use a lot.. etc.
LOVE how to the point it is. Short, well explained and clear.
izzyWaste of money. Get crash course 1or 2. Or the ninja set. I am a big fan of both McKinnon and Wilber and bought many of their products. I was inspired by watching Wilber do a pinky count tutorial on YouTube and thought this DVD would be just as detailed but it was way too quick. They say" go like this"instead of showing where to position fingers and literally run through techniques as important as the double lift in less than a minute. They teach a couple double lifts but it's better to teach one well than a couple quickly. I also bought this to learn Adam's double lift. Very very dissappointing. These guys teach so much better on their other products so do not hesitate to buy their stuff. This one sucks though
SummaryAs you can see, there is a lot of stuff in here to cover. The amount of material is just so much that it cant be fully covered in 3 hours.
Other than that, it is the perfect tool for beginners to lay a strong foundational basis in card magic.
SummaryThe content is great and is the perfect mix of everything you need for modern card magic. Though they are rushing through most handlings and there are not enough camera angles.
SummaryThis is an absolutely brilliant DVD and if I could have given it 4.5 stars I would have.
The 2 guys, Peter and Adam, do a great job and are obviously massively accomplished. Not only is their instruction good but they just seem so damned personable it's easy to see why they're so successful.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that there are a couple of explanations that they don't go into quite enough detail on. They even do this by their own admission and tell you if you want to know how to do the effect properly you should seek out more information. Had they gone into more detail themselves then this would be a solid five stars.
Do yourself a favor and grab this if you do anything related to cards at all...you won't be disappointed.
